The MD has about 40 HP stock as far as what it does at the pulls, let me start by saying this,it took alot of $$$$$ to get it to compete with the Super M's,The oliver 88's and such. The engine is very expensive to rebuild and parts are hard to come by. Don't get me wrong I love the tractor it does really well at the pulls now for being a STOCK tractor. The biggest problem was the weight mine weighs right at 6000 pounds I have gotten it down to 5500 put its a pain in the neck. And pulling in the bigger classes you also start getting into the high horsepower classes. I don't want to discourage you from getting one there a great tractor, but be prepared to dump alot of money into one is the engine is shot. Farmall
