Olaf, start with the set screws on the bottom fo the brake pans(covers). These screws should be turned in against the brake lining( they won't go all the way in just snug) Next your adjustment is in the clevis at the bottom of each brake pedal. Remove the split pin(cotter) from the pin at the bottom and remove the pin. Turn the clevis adjusting it shorter(I've had to heat one red hot and dunk it in cold water to get it to break free and turn) but with luck it will turn.Adjust and hook back up at the bottom and try the pedal for brake. It's important to get both pedals set equally so you don't have pull left or right when you put on the brake. The clevis is fundamentally the adjustment of the brake. If you can't get good brake you may need to remove the covers( you don't have to take the brake arms off the covers just remove the bolts around the pan and the whole kit and caboodle should pry off) and check the condition of your lining. Also if there is oil on the brake parts you need to put new brake seals in..another story That I would be glad to tell you about if need be. Hopefully you just need to adjust ...good luck from Mike in exeter Ontario...keep us informed

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
