C Farmall sleeves are wet. After you have installed O rings, put a light coat of white grease or better yet K-Y jelly on the O rings. You should be able to push them in with steady pressure using the palms of your hands. The first thing you should do is to install each sleeve in its bore without O rings to see how far each one sticks out of the block. some times you have to switch from hole to hole so they are all the same.
