Deering horse drawn sickle bar

I recently picked up a McCormick-Deering

#6 mower. It has a cast iron seat pan
that reads " CHAMPION"
I bought it from an old buck that never saw
it used in the 50 plus years he lived
with it .
I lashed the tongue to the tractor, put
the bar down, clicked it into gear
and started to cut hay.
Can anyone tell me about what year this is I gave a hundred dollars for it
What is something like this worth?
