Thanks for input.....yes, just today I primed
some NAPA paint you mention on a 350 tractor,
and noticed it looks darker, but more like
I remember (I think) in the color for the IH
tractors of the 40's to 60's. It sprays easy,
and if you do sections at a time, the paint
actually looks very good on a finished tractor.
If the tractor is clean and you give it 2 or 3
light coats, seems like a satisfactory painting.
Do you have a source of the decals for a "40
H tractor that is authentic in appearance ? MJD
