I had an opportunity to view what I condidered rare tractors from where I'm from. One shed housed 2 W9 diesels, 1 Super W9 disel, 820 JD diesel, and an older Western style Case. Another barn housed R model JD, Case 500 diesel, and a G model JD. Other than the fact I had never seen many of these tractors, other than faded paint they were in absolutely perfect and complete condition. W9 was for sale at $3,000, the super W9 $3,500, and he mentioned that the Case 500 diesel might be worth $5,000. My barn is full but thought I would share this experience with you. I hesitate to give any more information, I may be purchasing them myself, any comments on his asking prices would be appreciaed.
