Been thinking about this for a few minutes, and I remember seeing such when I was a kid. The M&W unit won't do what you want, (as mentioned in another post) because the transmission keeps turning even when the clutch is used to stop tractor motion. The unit I remember seeing was an after-market item in the mid '50s. (It may have been sold through Tractor Supply Co. at that time.) It had a lever that came up on the left side of the tractor, not too far from the left light. As I recall (pretty hazy on this) the lever was pulled BACK to disengage clutch, and pushed FORWARD to engage. I think it had a lever arrangement that hooked the short (lower) end of the handle behind the clutch arm, and some sort of a catch or latch that allowed it to be hooked into position with the clutch released. When I get home tonight, I'll take a good look at the clutch pedal on the Super M I have, and see if it jogs my memory any more! Anyone else remember these things?
