On the No. 6 mower all of the castings, seat, seat support, and levers were painted red. The cutter bar is painted blue. The wheels tongue, and grass board on the end of the cutter bar are cream. The wheel treads are blue and the wheel spokes have red pin stripes and the grass board is outlined in red with McCormick in blue letters. McCormick is also on the seat support in cream letters.

On the Deering mower all of the castings are red, the seat, seat support, levers and cutter bar are blue, and the tongue, grass board, and wheels are cream. The tread of the wheels are blue and the wheels have blue pin stripes on the spokes. Deering is in blue on a silver background on the seat support.

I do not have a color picture of the No. 9 but either way would be close to correct, probably the No 6 color sceme being the most correct. Both of the color pictures I have are in a 1920 IHC catalog of farm operating equipment.
