Mark, It would take a lot of parts hunting and engineering work, but the Super W-6 was available with an optional hand clutch. I think this was probably available on the Super W-6 with TA also, although I have never seen one. If you could find all of the parts, you could probably put put this over center clutch and related parts in your SMTA as the internal parts are the same in a SM and SW6. It would be a challange. I would suggest you look into purchasing a Farmall 656 Hydrostatic. This tractor is the same basic overall size and configuration as your SMTA and would be perfect for your needs and operation. The Hydrostatic is controlled by a hand lever and you would seldom have to even use the brakes as the Hydrostatic gives no clutch infinite speeds forward and backwards and provides positive braking. You would only need the brakes for steering or controlling wheel slip in certain conditions. The steering is power so this would also be better for you than your SMTA. We sold a number of new Farmall 656 Hydros and they are a very sweet handling tractor. Harold H
