Fascinating. I recently saw an H at a consignment auction that had a device as described by Grant, but nobody knew what it was. I suspected it was M&W related because out of the right side of the casing just forward of the brake housing was a standard M&W over drive shift lever. The operating rod was permanently bolted to the brake stop. I couldn't figure out what it was about, thanks guys! Dick
