Red,if you want to keep the generator setup,you can have you gen. rebuilt for 12 volt.Dont exactly understand how they do that but I took mine to a local starter\alternator repair shop and that is what the man told me he done since he knew I had changed it back to the generator from an alt.Been charging every since, 20 amps at full throttle.
