F30 Sleeve Puller

I finally got a stuck F30 sleeve to move with my homemade puller. The problem now, I was able to pull it flush with the bottom of the sleeve hole and it is still too tight to get out. Now I am thinking of a round plug that will fit most of the sleeve sides but still fit through the sleeve hole. With the bore being 4 1/4" and the sleeve wall thickness being about 1/4", I am going to make a round puller plug with a diameter of 4.70"; enough to cover most of the sleeve and still pass through the hole. My question is am I making the right size or does anyone use another size?
