Mark, I toured the Farmall works on two different occassions. The line produced different models mixed at the same time. Somehow, all of the correct subassemblies and parts would arrive at the main moving line at the right time and place for the correct tractor. This has always been the practice at Farmall but was much more complicated in the 60's and 70's than in earlier days because, like cars, there were a lot more options that had to arrive for the right tractor. There might be a F706D with single front and 1 remote with front & rear outlets and 3 point followed by a F1206D with wide front, 2 remotes with rear outlets, & 3 point, followed by a F806LPG with tricycle front, 2 remotes with front & rear outlets, 3 point, or various options and combinations, and apparrantly the line very seldom got out of sinc. The combine factory in East Moline also produced a mixture of combine models at the same time and the cotton picker factory in Memphis also mixed models on the line. I assume this is more the common practice than not amoung most manufacturers. Harold H
