Still out of luck here. But on a positive note... boy have I learned a lot about the Super A over the last few days. Again, it sure seems like my problem was related to fuel. Rebuilt carb, cleaned fuel lines, in-line filter, sediment bowl (ended up replacing sediment bowl, fuel line and filter when I stripped the threads on the sediment bowl). New gas. Same problem. Suspected condensor. Replaced cond, points, plugs, rotor and cap. Now no fire at all. Took the mag and coil to the IH service center for them to test the coil yesterday before I invest in new coil (they owe me some favors at this point). And with the mag off, last night I found a fray in the ignition wire going to the coil! Perhaps..... The saga continues.... Bob A
