If the 4x4 weighs the same, then it will out do anything the M will do. However, M's are pretty heavy and are rather gutsy, so I don't know. HP is HP, traction is traction, but 2 more wheels turning is much better. Look at any large farm operation, the tillage tractor is a front assist or 4wd and the M is on an auger. But, the M is more fun. But, the new 4x4 will be more versitile with a 3 pt hitch, live PTO, power steering, the works. Personal preference.
