IH 300 TA

Ok, had the TA overhauled 5 years ago, and it worked fair. Couple days ago, the TA lever won't shift into the lower speed. I feel less pressure on the clutch pedal when I pull the TA, but makes no difference to the tractor.... Before I start tearing into things I don't undersatand, any ideas? --->Paul
