If you are getting an occasional puff of smoke, you prob. have built up crud on top of the pistons. I would recommend you switch to sae 30 detergent on your next change. Be prepared, however, to change the oil about every 20 hours along with the filter until the sludge clears out. My 51H was as sluggy as you can get when I did the rebuild.
