This will be a high clearance A, hence the FAAV prefix on the S/N. Serial numbers started with 501 in '39 and ran through 198298 in '47, except for those made in Louisville, Ky. in '47 which ran from 200001-220829. $1200 sounds a little high to me, but price depends on where you live as well as condition. If the sheetmetal is straight, buy it! That is a good price. If the tractor was made in Ky. it might be worth more. Enjoy,
