I pulled the spark plugs and had to give all 4 a wire brushing. The H is still running a bit rich at idle. So another carb is on my list. All 4 plugs are definitely firing. #2 plug appeared to have a tad of oil on it but I mean a tad. Rings may not be seated in yet. Distributor needs a new set of springs but otherwise in good shape with good bushings on the dist. shaft. Rear seal is definitely leaking but not a gusher. Someday I will have to split it and take care of that problem. Minor leaks on the oil pan gasket. That will be permatexed when I change oil at 10 hours. Governor is responding excellently. I will have to turn the screw on the butterfly shaft under the slanted lid a bit so the engine speed will start to speed up a little earlier while pulling on the throttle lever. Still have to get a 12 volt generator and regulator. Lights work fine. Front bolster is solid. No shimmy at road speed. Cooling system is working fine with no leaks. She heats right up to 160 degrees or so. That is all I have to report for now.
