Well...some (perhaps most) of these at one time had a dipstick, but lots, (perhaps most) are missing now. If you have one, it will be found in the same place you fill it. The filler cap is on top of the center section of the tractor directly below the gas tank and above the control lever where it enters the side of the tractor. It is a knob-shaped cap which screws onto a vertical pipe that goes straight down into the pump. I don't remember what the capacity of this pump is. If your equipment won't raise, you need more oil, and letting the pump run dry is a shortcut to a new pump. I realize that's NOT a very precise answer!!
