I am sure that when I get around to draining the gear oil that it will be quite milky.I agree that it was probably darn near frozen. When I did get a gear which is 4th i presume then moved it to 1st,something did not follow. When I find out how to get the shifter off and the rails aligned I should be good to go.I assume that there is a round ball on the end of the shifter. When I get around to getting that built up,how far do I go?.005,.010?I realize that this will depend on wear and anything bigger than it is now will be an improvement.I want to thank all you guys for helping me out with information and with your help I will get this fixed.
