quick fix is screw out the sediment bulb assy ans put a short length of rubber hose 1/2 in as a standpipe make gas inlet higher. Another way would be to remave the fuel line from the tank to the carb ans replace with rubber hose and a see thru filter in-line so you can see when it gets clogged the filters only cost around 2-3 dollar.
