The paint sold at your local Case/IH dealer is made by Valspar for Case/IH and, in my experience, was easy to work with and all I did was follow the directions. The results were stunning on my 'M' and I've received a lot of compliments. I would never represent myself as a painter and I would say that the work turned out well despite my lack of experience. Yes, I used the hardener. Be sure you use a respirator rated for that or beg/borrow/steal a supplied air system to protect yourself because the hardener will harden your lungs just as well as your tractor's paint. I'm pretty sure your lungs won't look as good as your tractor. Be careful, buy twice as much sandpaper as you think you need and the work will turn out well.
