Steve it is like every other tractor they are worth what you can get out of them. That being said I have one I bought from original owner about 12 years ago. It was in exellent shape it came with 211 fasthitch plow, a 100 fasthitch mower, a IH Wind breaker and a two point two prong bale fork. I paid 1500 dollars for it, and was thrilled. On my way home with it I stopped at local IH dealor to get new filters and oil and so on. A man came in and ask who's tractor was on the trailor and proceeded to offer me 3500 for it of course I turned him down. My wife said two fools met. I have used this tractor for every day farm chores since. I would not take a farm in Georgia for it. Now the bad news the engine in these tractors were made by Continental instead of IH the are good engines, but they cost three times as much to work on as a IH. They are also hard to find parts for. They do get great fuel economy. They also are real peppy for only 193 cubic inches. Mine starts fairly easy down to about 35 degrees after that you have to use the manifold heater. Now I know a guy north of here he is a retired IH dealor who had one I tried to buy for twenty years and he would not sale. He went to nursing home and his son sold it for 10,000 dollars it did look like a new one. My point is it is hard to put a value on them because what is a deal to me may not be to you. I woud guess if the tractor you are looking at is in good condition and mechanicaly sound it is worth any where from 3500 to 5000 dollars. There was only a little over 4000 of them made. Good Luck and let us know if you get it. I know were some overhaul kits are.

The product that we have used is called Kreem thouh there are others on the market, this one was recommended and available. This particular product is sold in three parts, a bottle of etch, dryer, and sealer. We were fortunate enough to start the process with stern warnings from those that had used this type of product before. The horror
