Low oil pressure is very common on A. You did say just how low yours is but if it will hold over 20/25 lbs. at full throttle and stay out of red zone at idle with HOT engine it will run a long time like that. I bought my A about 1964 and the numbers I gave above is about all the oil pressure has ever run and after thousands of hours run time it is stil going strong with no engine work. I bought a new 1977 GMC and oil pressure would fall a little under 30 lbs. on long trip when new (could not get dealer to do anything about it) and the last time I saw it it had 250,000 miles on original engine and was still running good. Probaly 100,000 miles was with 5000 lb. or so trailer.
