I&T manual should have that info. I've got a 706 I&T book here in front of me. It gives the specs for the D-282, which was the 6 cylinder version of the D-188. It shows the rod journal standard diameter to be 2.373" to 2.374". Main journals 2.748" to 2.749". My parts book shows that 706 w/ the D-282 uses the same part number standard connecting rod bearings as the 504's D-188, and they also share two main bearings of the same part number (D-188's thrust bearing is a different part number for some reason), so I feel confident the D-282 specs are also correct for the D-188.
