Hi , The crank on my M was froze when I got it also . I took the grease zerk out and with a small stiff wire poked all the dry grease out of it then sprayed PB into it then a solvent ( Brake cleaner ) then more PB till I could get it to take some grease . I kept twisting it though the entire process . It came free after a long time of this . I tapped on the end of it with a big chunk of hard wood occasionally . It's still stiff but it moves now . I just haven't used it so haven't taken it apart to clean it out yet . Hope this helps . ...Randy
