I am stumped. I took the cover off. Just have the round shoe device on there and I am pulling with all the force in the world and the dang thing will not pull free. I was pulling so hard the brake band pulled off and twisted and the pads fell out. All that is holding it on is a peg in the hole, right? I have removed these before and it is just the peg in the hole, but this is acting as if there is a fastener on the inside of the tranny. What is the deal?
