If it an overhead valve it would be an I-H If the sparkplugs are on top this would be a flathead and could be a CUB or CONTINETAL but if its a CONT there should be an ID plate saying such. Sheet metal varied resembling in some cases that of an A or B. Now you didnt say if the engine came from a pull combine or self propelled as the pulls had different engine than self propelled. It mite also be one from a baler. Does it have a clutch?
