well if you knew me very well, you'd soon find out I'm cheap and dont mind doing a bit of work to save a few bucks. Usually it works out pretty well, this time it didnt. Now I got an ugly hose splicing the suction pipe together. I might have my bro weld a new pipe in, or I might give it a shot. Bad thing is the pipe has to stay on the tractor so that it doesnt warp from the heat. I'm not keen to welding by gasoline =P. Anyways, it just seemed absolutely ridiculous to spend $92 on a brass screen soldered on a pipe, 25 or 30, even $50 would be more reasonable. I also wanted to make it easier to change the filter. In short, I had good intentions, but well you know, stuff doesnt always work out.
