Pulleys are interchangable on most GM alternators (and Delco generators equipped with cooling fans). You may find you can take the pulley off your old 6V generator and put it on the alternator. If the old generator pulley won't work, go to an alternator shop or junk yard and check around for a suitable pulley. Most alternators on 60's era cars have pulleys for 3/8" wide belts; alternators for 70's thru mid 80's are for belts 1/2" wide. Good luck!
