I have 12.4-38 on my 42 H which has been rebuilt with step-head pistons and the overbore. I have two sets of cast weights mounted (300lbs each side) It will not spin out in first gear in the dirt or on gravel, it will power down and kill the engine.

Depending on how much power your H has, I think the 12.4 will take most of it.
