Chris: Here's betting those power adjust wheels will hit the scrap pile. Between 1957 and about 1961 all companies were plagued with those power adjusted wheels, they tried flogging them everywhere. The wheels died almost as quick as they appeared. I never had a set, quite frankly figured they were a nightmare unless you bought the tractor to look at. I expect they were all being manufactured by one outside supplier. Just one of those poorer ideas that didn't fly, and rightly so.

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub. My Papaw raised "baccer" (tobacco) and corn with the Super A, but the fondest memory was of the sawmill.
