I am getting ready to hook up my new-to-me hydra swing to my 1066 and make sure it is all working before hay season. I have a book and it shows a drawbar hitch extension that bolts to the existing tractor drawbar and was wandering if anybody out there has one and if it is necessary. In reading the book, it shows the existing tractor drawbar is within spec. for vertical distance from drawbar to center of PTO shaft and horizontal distance from hitch pin hole to end of PTO shaft. Only thing I can figure is that there is necessity for clearance so that pump/hoses will not strike gooseneck of hydra swing. If someone has one of these, what is the width, length, and thickness of the extension. Thanks
