It is going to take a lot more engineering to make a direct injection head than the majority of us can do in our home workshop. If you think about how long it to Farmall, John Deere, and others to get this feat done then I would not hold out hope for you to be able to do this yourself. If you want a direct start diesel then I would suggest that you buy one. That way you know that everything is engineered to work together without causing other problems/issues.
