I know mark thinks I am yanking this poor kid's chain, but really I am not. So overhaul is essentially what I was saying that I would do around here. You tear down the engine or some other major component and fix what needs fixing. You do not necessarily replace everything that might be wearing out. I have heard people say that they tore down an engine and replaced virtually every bearing, ring, or other wearing part and made it "like new". That seems like a waste to me. Just trying to get an understanding. I am "mechanically backwards" as is well known.
