tdh: You've got me curious. Why don't you go to the Farmall IH photo gallery here at YT. Just type in various selected tractors, for example 460, 706, 756, 766, 886, 3288, see if you can find a grill, same styling as yours. There are others you could try. What this will do is find the series it comes from. I have a 1975 and 1983 buyers guide. In the 83 guide I see compact tractors like 284, 234, 244, 254 and the offset 274., but I don't see 238.
