The old guy passed away back in the 1960's. I know that he had very well worn out the old tractor (and al lot of mules before that). I still have the image of a flat head with spark plugs in the top of the head. It did not strike me as strange since we had Ford trucks with flat heads which we used up into the 1970's. Larry
