I have read about a new gas cap that you can get from IH. The question is do I need a new one or is the one I have OK. It is the short flat cap not the tall one. Please tell me if I have the updated one. This tractor is for our 4H club to be restored. It was donated to us by a local farmer for the club. After the tractor is restored it will be raffled off and the money donated to a local charity by the 4H members. Last year the club restored a 1948 fergie. They had a great time working on it and learned some new things about tractors. This year it is a 1948 Farmall H. So you will be hearing from us alot,I'm sure for advice on the restoration of this one. Thanks for now. Ron
