Mike: For close to 35 years I never had time or the money to spend on non commercial tractors. Even though I worked with tractors every day. It's only the last 15 years, I've had the time for playing with tractors. As a hobby it's not a bad money consumer, but it still has it's costs. I have 3 little offsets here with close to 20 implements or attachments. 15 years ago it was 2 tractors and virtually no implements. I can tell you the biggest single cost is being in a hurry to find something. Every time I rushed out to buy some new implement, I always wound up paying too much money, yes even as much as 3 times what I should have. By the way, over the years I've bought and sold 3 other offset tractors, mainly to acquire implements or attachments Three times I've been going to part my Farmall 130 out, once I even had it in 3 pieces, then along came the parts I needed and at a very reasonable price. I've learned to wait, now I must admit that becomes easier with 3 tractors.

"Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
