Interesting, my parts H that has been idle for over 20 years, has the rear mounted shock type also. Strange that the parts manual from IH doesn't show this type of configuration as standard or deluxe. I did find this seat type in a photo from a book published by Motorbooks entitled 'Farmall Tractors', by Lee Klancher. I plan use the rear mounted shock seat assembly on my current restoration project.
