I would say to check the hydraulic oil filter and screen (right side of tractor, located on the transmission housing right behind the right rear tire). If those are good, either the hand pump (the one under the steering wheel), the piston in the cylinder on the front end, or the MCV pump itself are bad. Yes, the hydraulics, brakes, Torque-Amplifier, and steering system all use the hydraulic fluid from the rear frame, which serves as the reservoir. You check the fluid level with the dipstick that is located in the back of the tractor, right under the fuel tank and above the three point hitch arms.
