better to restore , AV,,or a 48 cub?

I know they are small, my 9 yr old son has a cub we were going to restore, my BIL just gave me a AV, would you restore the AV, as opposed to the cub? I think the AV is a bit more rare?. and should be able to do a little more work? at least haul a wagon.. whats your thougts,, both need about the same amount of work, mechanically sound but tin needs attention, paint ,, tin is straight on both.
