Read through the articles on buying a tractor on this site before buying another one. If you're acceptable to a friendly suggestion, take a close look at your financial and mechanical capabilities before getting into a similar situation. With the cost of a total restoration, at your age I just couldn't afford it and I wouldn't have touched one with a stick just to have something to drive in a parade. The list of family members that would have kicked my butt is long and distinguished. If you're really headstrong about getting one though, seriously, buy the manuals now.
