I saw an H with a small block v-8 in it years ago at a tractor in IN. You need to do a little welding for brackets, etc., but if it worked for him it will certainly fit in an M. Don,t be skimpy on the motor mounts either. If that things breaks loose while running you'll be in hot do-do.
