Croz - Be careful if you rotate the field coil frame relative to the rear end plate! The brushes (attached to the rear plate) must be maintained in a certain position relative to the field coil shoes. If they are moved generator output will be impaired. May be easier to modify the stamped steel regulator "saddle" bracket, or drill/tap fresh holes in the generator frame to locate the regulator where you want it. Or do like IHC did with later production tractors and relocate the regulator under the gas tank or on the front side of the ammeter box.
