That ether kit is the best and safest way to
use ether. The fitting that goes into the
manifold has a hole in it about the size of a
hair.

The procedure is to get the engine cranking
over first and then add the ether for stating
assist. If you do not have good cranking
speed, do not use the ether assist until you
get that problem cured. When things are
working right you will not hear any knocking
from using ether.

To check the ether assist for correct operation,
with the engine idling, push the button. Engine
speed should increase about 200 RPMs.
