On the left side of this page, under research and info, is the serial number listings. Kinda fun to do it yourself. The numbers listed are the first serial number for each year, and yours will most likely fall somewhere between the beginning # for one year and the beginning # for the next year. Kind of a "greater than" or "less than" thing. The serial# prefix for a Farmall M, which is also in the "6" category, is FBK, the F meaning Farmall. Since yours is missing the F, I think we can assume that it would be a standard tread model. The W after the number is a suffix, and would indicate some sort of option.
