While I don't have the info on a 1948 Cub, we have to realize that they didn't change significantly in weight over the entire run. I just found Dad's old PL-128, Revision 3, dated 11/1/64, which has the weights listed. From page 3...An International Cub, Standard, with Touch Control, lights, and PTO, shows to weigh in at 1426 pounds. An International Cub, Basic--which DOESN'T list Touch Control, lights, or PTO--weighs in at 1311 pounds. Touch-control weighs in at 85 pounds, so I guess the adjustable front axle, PTO, lights, and "Seat with foam rubber upholstery" make up the other 30 pounds. Drawbar delete was 28 pounds, lights were 5 pounds, PTO was 6 pounds, front weights (outside) were 50 pounds [inside split type were 92, but I've never seen any of them], and rear wheel weights were 272 pounds for the set. The rear rockshaft was 24 pounds. Your Cub should be pretty close.

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
