I was told never to use copper for gas lines because they will get brittle and break. Now what we have been doing on the Farmall Cub Board is buying 5/16 brake line at the auto store and cutting off the ends and using the slip on compressing ring while using the 1/2-20 thread that is on the brake line. You bend your gas line where you want it and screw on the new gas line it works good.
